Otherkin - New Vice EP

OTHERKIN ANNOUNCE NEW 4 TRACK EP AHEAD OF FRENZIED FESTIVAL SEASON

‘The New Vice’ released Friday 17th June.

Hot off the success of ‘I Was Born’, Dublin grunge-pop outfit Otherkin keep the raucous rock vibes going with the release of their new EP, entitled ‘The New Vice’ , ahead of a frantic festival season across Europe.

‘I Was Born’ enjoyed stellar support from Irish radio, and also from Clara Amfo, Annie Mac, Phil Taggart and Huw Stephens at BBC Radio 1, and John Kennedy at Radio X in the UK. The track raced to 130,000 spins on Soundcloud as the band sold out Whelans in Dublin, played two nights in Moscow over Paddy’s Day weekend, and encountered crazy stage invasions in Amsterdam, Leeds and London.

‘The New Vice’ was recorded at Clique in Straffan with David Prendergast and Jason Boland, and was mixed in the UK by Jolyon Thomas; best known for his work with Slaves. It’s another Otherkin heavyweight 4x4 mothertrucker, a banging follow up to their rambunctious debut four-tracker ‘The 201 EP’ released at the end of last year.

‘The New Vice’ impacts in Ireland on Friday 17th June.
